Pet-Friendly Community

We understand that your pets are part of your family. That's why we've extended special amenities to our four-legged friends, so they know they are part of the Horton Plaza family, too.

Your small- to medium-sized pets are welcome in any of our apartment homes on any floor of our community. We require a small one-time pet fee when you and your pet move into your new home. There are no monthly pet fees charged.

Computer Room

Take a computer class, check your email, or surf the internet. Our computer room has one computer with a printer for your use any time of the day or night. Computer classes are scheduled for interested residents as well.

Library and Reading Room

Horton Plaza features an outstanding library loaded with interesting and educational reading and study materials. The comfortable and cozy furnishings and the relaxed atmosphere make this one of the most inviting rooms in our community.

Theater Room

Enjoy your favorite movie or Monday night football with the gang in our comfortable theatre room. Our big-screen television is available for individual watching or group events.

Card and Game Rooms

We have four card and game rooms throughout Horton Plaza. Join our weekly poker group, or invite your friends for a game or two. Don't be surprised to find our bridge players, book club, chess club, cribbage players, or mahjong group regularly using these amenities.

Activity Rooms and Multipurpose Rooms

Our community features a large activity room used for a multitude of programs and events, from lectures and presentations to dances and exercise classes. Additionally, we offer one multipurpose room complete with a kitchen. These rooms are available for family or group events when not in use by one of our many social groups.

Beauty and Barbershop Right Down the Hall

Call ahead or drop in for an appointment. Services include shampoo, haircuts, permanents, coloring, conditioning, facials, waxing, nail treatment, artificial gel and acrylics, and hand and foot massages.
